Flowers for a year.

Wouldn't this be nice. Flowers delivered every month for a year. This would make such a gorgeous anniversary present. Or any present really. Or just because.
This beautiful idea comes from a local shop the potager (previously twigg and blossom) in Berrima, Southern Highlands.
They have a gorgeous range of homewares and of course flowers. They also have a scrumptious daily menu of lovely treats. What's not to love.
I'm dropping by this weekend.

We ask the burning questions...
Is it ok to eat a present that you bought for someone else?
Some background information:
My husband received a giant toblerone from Bella as a father's day present. I know I know, sad but true. Last year she bought him a dvd and tie. She was busy this year and only had time to run into Woolworth's.
Anyway, Dave likes chocolate but he has been less than enthusiastic about eating his way through the giant toblerone and since I hate food being wasted I felt I should help him out a little. If you snooze you lose.
So I figure its ok to eat someone elses chocolate that they are clearly not interested in and may potentially forget about anyway. Don't you think??

This weekend... why don't you..
Head on down to Mount Ashby Estate Vineyard.
I went there recently and they have set up the most gorgeous restaurant in an old style french barnyard. You can get excited and break your no alcohol during the day ban and sample some of the local tipples. Might I suggest the 2009 pinot gris.
Delicious french country food. Great staff. Lovely atmosphere. Rustic. Might I recommend the beef bouguignon. Did I mention there is an Antique's store on site? There is.
Maybe that's how I ended up there.
We'll be back. Its only ten minutes from our house or 45mins if you decide you don't trust your GPS and think you know a better way. Not that that happened.. I'm just sayin'.
