A few things....

Image from MTV.com

I'm in mourning. Tonight is the last episode of The Hills. Ever. Thank you MTV for playing repeats. I heart you.

I feel like I have walked in my Louboutins swinging my Chanel bag with the likes of Stephanie, Lo, Audrina, Kristin and Lauren. When really I've normally had a shower and popped my pj's on ready to watch My Favourite Show. Of. All. Time. They cried - I cried. They laughed.. you get my point. Great fashion, latest tunes. Don't get me started on Justin Bobby...

What will I do without you.....

PS. This also happened in 2004 when Dawson's Creek finished. My sister cried.
PPS. I'm not too devastated... There's still: The city, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Farmer wants a wife and the finale of The Bachelorette. Hell I even love RPA on a good night.
PPS. My 30th birthday plans have started. Yipee.

Nice things

I don't have this book so I can't really comment on its content. But it looks nice, has subject matter that I enjoy and I'd like it.

Prime Time Emmy Awards

Two totally different looks.
Kim glowed in Marchesa.
Lea glammed it up in Oscar de la Renta.
Good one.

Just landed

This gorgeous swimsuit.
Who knew Sambag had this in the pipeline. Between you and I, I'm quite excited.
Loving the classic black and white combo. Very Italian Rivera chic. I'm just sayin.
They are dropping instore soon. This is just a sneak peak. Summers fast approaching.
They are rocking a leopard one piece too.
That's all x

Nice things

There is a nice company called Chickenfoot Designs.
They make lovely tea towels and funny cards. Right up my alley.
They have an online store for your convenience. Go and pop by and have a look.
I might need some new tea towels for when I try my hand at Come Dine With Me Australia.......

Travelling Style

So I've started booking a few things for the big family Lake Como wedding 2011!! (BFLCW)
Immediately this gal's mind turns straight to fashion. Here's how I hope to be looking...

And a few things to make it happen:
YSL pure lip colour from here.
Mecca Cosmetica individual lashes.
Essie nail polish in lollipop.

I'm praying for an Italian miracle.
Have a good weekend.

We ask the burning questions

Is 30 too old to wear a jumpsuit?
I'm turning thirty soon, and one thing I know for sure is I don't have the body I had ten years ago. Or five years ago. Or last year actually. I like to think I have pulled off some cute looks over the last decade. One shudders though at thoughts of a 23 year old me in hot pants, high heels, puffy denim jacket. Someone call a taxi. I had good legs then though. Having said that tricky trends are harder to pull off when you are not 19 and experimenting with your personal style.
I am filled with hope to see my fav Princess Mary rocking a jumpsuit last week in Adelaide. Hello people she is approaching 40 and pregnant with twins. chicness.com.
Take a bow Mary. I love you.
PS Happy birthday to my blogging pal Sam over at Good Mum Hunting. Hope you have a great day!
If you have a burning question, fashion related or otherwise please email me at bonboncest@gmail.com.
That's all. x

Dear Universe

Dear Universe,
How are you?
I'm not sure what you are trying to teach me but I'm not getting it.
Maybe try harder - I can be dense sometimes.

Don't you think I've had enough already???
Love me x

love loans + linen

Images from love loans +linen

Is it just me or do other people have the annoying problem of elaborate party ideas without the mega bucks needed to pull them off.
Like the idea of hiring things but often the things for hire aren't so chic. And look as though they need to be retired from the party hire scene.
Love loans + linen in Palm Beach may have the answer. They hire nice stuff.
For small gatherings, parties, weddings. They also custom make anything your heart desires. I wish I had known about them sooner. x

I have a collection of glass bottles which is getting out of hand.

Visit their blog here.

Loving... Serena and Lily

I've been lusting after this San Francisco designed, Italian made brand of bedding for ages now. The Madeira collection graces the stylish sheets of Kourtney Kardashian in her Miami pad. I pay attention to details people. "Oh my god there's blood on the Serena and Lily sheets."
I'd be crying too. It doesn't exactly go with anything else in my house but I love it.
If its good enough for the K sisters. I'm just saying.....

Nice things.

Stormy weather. My mum's in the market for a rain coat. For travelling. Something stylish but still a rain coat. This is a raincoat. A very chic Kate Spade raincoat. I might need a rain coat too. You might as well. From here.

Don't you just love a good card?

Simple and clever and fun. And here.

W is for..

High tea has been a fun idea for a while now but an even better take on this classic staple is Vintage High Tea. Based in Sydney they will come and serve high tea in your home, hotel suite or wherever you wish.

An easy bridal shower idea. Maximum impact but minimum effort. They can also arrange a tarot reader if you are that way inclined.
There are worse ways to spend a Wednesday afternoon. And your dog could come along too. x

Come on over

Is it just me or do more people seem to be loving (and moving to) my beloved Southern Highlands?
What's not to love I say.
An hour and 20 mins to Sydney. Nice village atmosphere. Community. Real seasons. Ducks in your garden.
A little bit country without going all farm scary rural. That's all x

T is for Tuesday.

I'm getting in early with a W is for post.

Amsale is up there with my top three wedding dress designers. Yes there is a top3 or 4. Anyway if I was getting married this weekend. I'm not. I would wear this. Just the right amount of poufy - ness. Just the right amount of chic - ness.
Just the right sized bow. I'm seeing a stand out shoe underneath.
Could also work with a nautical theme if you were that way inclined. I'm not.
Amsale you rock me.
That's all x
Amsale is available through the Angela Wilson boutique in Sydney.

I love my Highlands.
I used to be a bus rider.
This tea towel is a bus trip.
Its cute and I'm going to have to buy it if I can track one down....
Next stop... crazy town. Toot Toot.
That's all x

Thanks Mum

My mum is the best. For many reasons but today for the following:

The beautiful poppies you brought.
Your expert fire supervising skills.
Providing flourless chocolate cake.
Watching He's just not that into you and The September Issue. Back to back.
For my new wedding albums. Fixed!! Yay

Thank you for visiting today, for looking after me and for the above. I miss you already. x x
Bella is sorry she ignored you.

Chip Chop

I just spent a few minutes laughing my way through the CLEVER designs at Chip Chop.
I suggest you hop on over and have a squiz at whats on offer. I may have to buy something. Not for me.... For my cheese loving relatives.
That's me, supporting Aussies wherever I go.
