You know that episode of Sex and the City (possibly 'the good fight' season 4 - I think) where Carrie is dating Aiden and they have moved in together and Charlotte is married to Trey.
Carrie is complaining that she has no alone time in her apartment.
Its all "where you been, who'd you see, what you know."
Anyway the four of them talk about what they do when they are alone in their apartments.
Charlotte admits to studying her pores in a magnified mirror every night before she was married.
Miranda watches info - mercials with Vaseline on her hands and cotton gloves on.
Carrie eats a stack of saltines with grape jelly while standing in the kitchen reading fashion magazines.
She also likes to gossip on the telephone while secretly pumicing her calluses.
Me. I like to watch taped episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City while ironing sheets and pillow cases into hotel standard crispness.
That's the way I roll here.

Ahh another SATC girl! I started watching it about 9 years ago when it was on channel 9 at about 11pm at night & have been hooked ever since!
ReplyDeleteOk, so alone time....what is that? Only joking! But with 2 kids & a hubby, alone time is something of a rarity.
I put on music & either chill out on the net, paint furniture or just sleep! Nothing exciting but that's 'how I roll'!
